A bespoke new home for architectural practice Jestico + Whiles
Award winning architects Jestico + Whiles had spent 30 fond years in their offices in Euston. Due to an expiring lease, it meant that the architects had to look for a new HQ.
Following an excellent working relationship on a previous project, ITC were asked to tender for the fit-out of a new office space that the architects had found in Clerkenwell. We won the project on a 2-stage tender basis and had to mobilise quickly to ensure the office would be ready by the time their lease expired. This required a collaborative approach from the outset to ensure the critical project requirements were met.
Modern industrial style office space
Working to Jestico + Whiles’ own design, we knew we would be creating a special environment for them to work in and one that needed to be of the highest quality to showcase the practice to its own clientele.
The Cat B fit out of this former warehouse building involved the creation of three architectural studios, a reception area, a modelling workshop, an architectural library area and meeting rooms. The works included MEP modifications and new fume extractor for the modelling shop, together with drywall and glazed partitions, bespoke joinery, decorations and floor finishes.
The project was completed to programme, providing Jestico + Whiles a contemporary new space to showcase their work; a practical environment to foster creativity; and a place to call home.
