Brent Cross Shopping Centre Refurbishment for Hammerson

We carried out a refurbishment to reinstate two units was completed in the live Brent Cross Shopping Centre.
The works involved the strip out of a popular high street fashion chains tenant fit out, including shop front, changing rooms, ceilings, flooring and services. Once stripped back to shell, extensive asbestos removal works and breaking out of hard finishes were undertaken out of hours to minimise disruption to the live shopping centre and adjacent tenants. Alterations to the mall side marble flooring and GRG ceilings were also undertaken out of hours.
Structural alterations were required to reinstate the back of house corridors and split the unit into a retail area and separate storeroom with Jumbo Stud drywall together with stabilisation works to the exposed clinker block soffit.
Adaptions to all services including, sprinklers, fire alarms and DB boards were also made and the store area was fitted out including new resin floor finishes. The new tenants fit out has since been completed and is now in operation as a prestige car dealer.
