This business park property of 100,000 sq.ft over 3 floors had extensive refurbishment both inside and out to provide modern and fresh lettable office space.
Externally, the existing entrance lobby was demolished with cladding and slabs reinstated to form a new open plan space and a new relocated entrance lobby was formed on the south of the building. An adjoining extension to the rear was also demolished with the cladding being reinstated to match existing. The whole of the remaining existing cladding was also refurbished and resprayed.
Internally, extensive structural alterations reconfigured the existing atrium, removed staircases and formed new risers for services to optimise lettable floor space. The roof coverings were also upgraded, with all new mechanical and electrical plant being reconfigured on the roof.
Internally the spaces were fitted out to Cat A standards with all new mechanical & electrical services, ceilings, partitions and floor finishes. High quality toilets on all floors were also created together with two new lifts in existing shafts.
To compliment the internal and external upgrades, the works also included reconfigured landscaping and external areas to give a complete premium upgrade to take this existing office building into its next lease of lettable life.
