November Awards Season

November was a busy awards season for ITC as we were named as finalists at a couple of high-profile industry awards.

Friday 16th November saw the long-awaited National Constructing Excellence Awards take place, with ITC shortlisted as finalists in the SME of the Year 2018 category following our win in June at the London and the South East awards.

As expected, it was a fantastic night celebrating the achievements of our industry and connecting with other key construction players. Although ITC didn’t end up taking home the overall award, being SME of the Year 2018 winners in the very competitive area of London and the South East is an incredible result.

The judges’ praise of our win was also a prize in itself, with Helen Patel, Employer Engagement Manager at the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and head judge commenting:

“In this category we look for smaller companies who have taken significant and considered steps to improve their company through strong leadership. ITC is a rounded SME that succeeds through very ‘human’ values. The efforts of all are reflected in the financial strength of the business and continued support from great colleagues and clients.”

We were delighted to be shortlisted for this year’s Construction Marketing Awards in the Best Branding & Positioning Category, in recognition of May’s brand refresh. It is testament to the hard work and incredibly careful planning of our team and partners that our new brand image was honoured as a model example of brand positioning. Although the awards ceremony at the end of November didn’t include an ITC win, it was fantastic to have our marketing and communications strengths and successes recognised, in addition to our projects.
