ITC’s Monthly Project Update – March 2021
6th April 2021
We are delighted to have been appointed on 4 new projects this month and with lockdown restrictions relaxing and the sun shining, we are really excited for what the rest of the year holds.
We have been selected to undertake a CAT A fit-out of Hammond House, 117 Piccadilly, creating contemporary office space in the heart of London’s West End. The works will involve internal alterations, refurbishment and new lift installation in this Grade II listed building.
Our capability, credibility and commitment to our clients’ needs has resulted in ITC being the contractor of choice for the healthcare industry. This month we have been chosen to deliver two GP surgery projects for the NHS.
We will be starting on site at Crown Dale Medical Centre in South East London in April. The project involves the remodelling and two storey extensions to three of the existing general practice’s elevations to provide enhanced consultation facilities and additional admin accommodation.
Over in West London, we will be involved in the relocation and fit-out of primary care facilities at Chiswick Family Practise to a new practice.
We are pleased to have been appointed on another project at Birkbeck University, where we will be installing new boiler rooms and upgrading accommodation and plant within their Central London campus.
This month we handed over new teaching spaces, employee facilities and reception at Bucks New University’s Uxbridge campus. We are pleased to report that the project was delivered on time and snag free.
Action on-site in March
It has been a busy month on our sites. At The Royal Alfred Seafarers Society we are currently in phase A of the works carrying out 32 bedroom and en-suite bathroom upgrades and re-configuring the layouts. We are delighted to have just been awarded a further phase to build a new extension to the North wing to create an additional 10 bedrooms and bathrooms.
We have been making great progress at Polka Theatre, the carpets are in, washroom facilities complete and the stairs are ready for the long-awaited return of theatre goers.
Our two-storey CAT A vertical extension project at Breams Buildings, London is taking shape, with new floors, new brickwork and plastering of the internal walls.
At Godstone Farm, our team are putting all their efforts towards the completion of the new nursery. The cafe is also progressing well, with the roof, cladding and windows now complete.
