ITC’s Monthly Project Update – June 2021

It was great to get started on some exciting projects this month, with fantastic progress being made on others. Take a look at our latest project news below.
New Projects
We are delighted to have been appointed by Arts Educational Schools in Chiswick to create a welcoming reception area and new library for their talented performing arts students.
Project Completions
Our project at 63 St James’s Street completed this month, we were pleased to handover 22,000 sq ft of stunning grade A office accommodation, ready for tenants to move in. We constructed a vertical extension to increase the floor plate, to provide meeting rooms and a roof terrace with spectacular views across London. Click here to find out more and take a virtual tour.
We were pleased to hand over 32 modern and bright bedroom and en-suites to The Royal Alfred Seafarers Society this month. This concludes phase A of the works at the Care Home and we look forward to moving onto the next phase. It was great to receive some feedback from Charlie Love, the Contract Administrator and Quantity Surveyor on the project, who said:
“All members of the ITC team have shown a keen interest in the project and have a keen eye for detail. The works on site have been carried out with care and the team have gone out of their way to work cooperatively and safely with the staff and residents of the Home.”
Progress on site
This month we started on site with two of our education clients, with works spanning across the summer holidays. Works began in Kennington for the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, refurbishing Salisbury House where we are reconfiguring the building to create flexible teaching spaces. Elsewhere at Kingston College we are ready to start transforming the entrance of the college, creating a multi-purpose internal space, along with a new student hub and LRC.
We also started on site at 117 Piccadilly. Construction of the scaffolding has begun, taking us a step closer to starting this CAT-A fit-out of the building, which includes a replacement lift, removal of secondary staircase and external repairs.
Our projects at St Helier Hospital and Croydon College are nearing completion.
