ITC’s Monthly Project Update – January 2021

What an exciting start to the year! We are pleased to announce that we have been appointed on some really interesting projects this month across the leisure, residential and retail sectors.
We have been chosen to undertake the development of Talent House in East London by Urban Development and East London Dance. Our work will involve the fit-out of a purpose-built shell to provide a pioneering music and dance hub for the young people of East London.
The Royal Alfred Seafarers Society selected us to carry out refurbishment works at their Weston Acres Estate in Banstead. The charity provides help to retired seafarers and their dependents and has since evolved to offer dedicated care to people living with dementia. This project involves the refurbishment of bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, building a new extension and updating common areas for the residents to enjoy modern facilities.
We have also been successful in negotiating a contract to refurbish national toy retailer Smyth’s Toy Store’s retail unit, at Peninsular Retail Park in Charlton. This project represents the first stage of a phased upgrade of the retail park.

Action on site in January
It is great to be working with the Institute of Cancer Research again, after completing their new Electron Microscopy suite in Chelsea at the end of last year. This month, we are helping them with the re-organisation of office and laboratory space at their Sutton site, providing alterations works to laboratory spaces.

We have hit a significant milestone on our Godstone Farm project; the new café roof is taking shape and we will soon be watertight. The new café and Day Nursery and Pre-school building is set to open in Spring.
