ITC Project Directors On Education

20th October 2019

Following on from our education sector focus, we spoke to each of our 5 Project Directors to reflecting on their favourite Education Sector projects, and here’s what they had to say:

Tony Corbett
“The creation of the Performing Arts Centre at Putney High School was a rewarding project to be part of. The space was completely transformed into a multi-use creative hub for the children, and it is used and enjoyed every single day.”

Nick Hoy
“Reflecting on ITC’s education construction projects, the refurbishment of the LSBU Bakery School was one of my personal favourites. It has been incredible to see the talented students making the most of these high-spec new facilities.”

Mark Vietro
“Working with Education First to refurbish their beautiful Grade-1 listed building was a definite highlight of my work in the sector. The finished result was loved by the clients and the whole project team – we created a really special space.”

Darren King
“The most memorable project for me was the creation of an indoor running track for the BNU Human Performance Centre, which was later opened by a Paralympic athlete!”

Mark Hemsley
“I find that Education Sector projects are especially rewarding on account of the many stakeholders involved. When everyone is happy with the end result, that brings a great sense of accomplishment”.
