ITC’s Monthly Project Update – February 2021
4th March 2021
ITC were delighted to hand back the keys to the Welbeck Mansion residents this month, as we completed our fire reinstatement works. Our teams’ extensive restoration work to the apartments, communal areas and roofs has allowed residents to return to their homes following a fire in 2018.
Starting on site in February
It was a busy month of new site set ups. We began refurbishment and alteration works to three railway arches along the Low Line in Bankside London. The works for Business Improvement District Better Bankside, will also involve the alteration of the façade including arch lining, curtain walling and M&E fit-out. Find out more.
We are pleased to be back on site at the Institute of Cancer Research in Chelsea after the successful fulfilment of the EM Suite project in late 2020. We will be carrying out internal alterations and fit-out works to form office and laboratory space. This project represents further value resulting from our framework agreement with ICR; we are also currently on site at the Haddow Building at ICR’s Sutton site.
We also started on site at Talent House in East London, Smyth’s Toy Store’s retail unit at Peninsular Retail Park in Charlton and at Weston Acres Estate in Banstead for The Royal Alfred Seafarers Society.
Action on-site in February
Our team made excellent progress on the new lift and corresponding lobbies at St. Helier Hospital. The fire-rated front wall of the lift shaft has been formed, whilst the roofs have been fitted with a high performance waterproofing system. The lift and lobbies are scheduled for completion in April.
