Introducing Iggy the dog

Iggy the dog lifts spirits on site
This virus outbreak may have an impact on how we think and feel about ourselves. It is important that we understand that we are all responsible for our mental fitness, and we need to embrace the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of work wherever we can.
One such opportunity is the introduction of Iggy! Since the beginning of March, Grant Searson, our Logistics Co-ordinator/Handyman’s dog Iggy has accompanied him whilst he has been visiting sites. Iggy, a 6-year-old Tibetan Terrier that was recently rescued has been getting a great response from everyone on site!
Meet Iggy
Because of her friendly nature she always gets a smile from whoever comes to visit her at her van window. Iggy is a very friendly dog – who loves cuddles! So next time Grant comes to pick up or drop off at your site, please feel free to come over and meet her.
Dogs have been known to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression and ease loneliness. Just by stroking, sitting next to or playing with a dog can give you a chance to relax and calm your mind.
Of course, it goes without saying, your health and safety is important to us – therefore Iggy always stays in the van and doesn’t ever come onto site (if it’s too hot she stays at home). When you do meet Iggy, please remember to clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand gel or wash your hands with soap and warm water afterwards.
We hope Iggy’s presence continues to help lifts the spirits of those that she interacts with!
