August Project Update

28th August 2019

This month we are pleased to share the following updates on a selection of the projects we’ve been working on.

Hall School

In August we completed the £400k reconfiguration and refurbishment works at Hall School in Wimbledon, completing the programme of works in time for the new intake of students in September. The works included upgrading classrooms, installing new M&E services, drainage and washrooms along with restoring, and re-marking the sports hall for the many sports students play.

Aviemore, Maplewood

We’ve now completed works at Maplewood in Chineham Business Park where we worked with an expert design and supply team to deliver a £10m refurbishment for Aviemore Trustee and Frasers Properties. The full Cat A refurbishment was completed to BREEAM standards and involved demolishing the chamber building, installing new walkways and staircases, relocating the existing front entrance and creating a new entrance, reception and atrium area.

Addlestone One

Work has finished at another of our long-running, major refurbishments and we have now handed over our Addlestone One project. Working with Runnymede Borough Council to deliver a £1.6m CAT A fit-out of retail units at Addlestone One, for tenants including Holland & Barrett, Boots, Smith and Western, Nandos, Light Cinema, and more units.

Works included installing a new lift, new shop fronts, M&E services, adding raised access flooring, screed, completing plasterboard work and blockwork in the existing retail units. To find out more about the motivation behind this project read our Q&A with John Rice, Director of Commercial Services at Runnymede Borough Council, here.

Arhag

Our works with Arhag Housing Association recently completed with the handover of a £1.3m project. ITC were appointed by the association to form the Peoples Place – a community hub in Stratford, along with the fit-out the existing building shell. The new hub will be a vital resource for the local area and help Arhag’s staff deliver crucial services.

UCL MRC

Continuing our long held relationship with UCL, we have now completed a £353k fifth floor office refurbishment. The works included installing a new suspended ceiling, acoustic baffles, lighting and carpet and creating new cellular offices as part of their clinical trials unit.

Bucks New University Aylesbury Nurses Teaching Space & Cafe

In August we completed part of a current project with BNU, handing over the new Café area on the ground floor. Full works were completed in September on the second floor where the team have designed and refurbished a Nurses training facility. We’ll update you further in September’s project update.

Thank you to all of the teams involved in delivering these great projects together!
